I live 2 blocks from the original ECW arena... my brothers and my friends and I have been going to events there since 1997 when I was like 14 years old...the biggest event I was at was probably "a matter of respect' '98 with not only Sabu and Van Dam Reuiniting after facing off as opponents on opposite tag teams with Chris Candido (RIP) and Lance Storm...but a stairway to hell match with Sandman, dreamer and spike vs the dudleys...

more recently, i've been to numerous CZW and Ring Of Honor Shows, sitting ringside for these events heres some of the awesomeness i've experienced...you are literally part of the show...I flimed these with my phone over the past year (clips are about 30 seconds)

It has been well documented both here on CZWrestling.com and on other news platforms about all the changes the Asylum Arena is currently going through.  Longtime CZW friend and the primary leaseholder of the legendary venue, Roger Artigiani, officially signed over his lease to the new management.  It is being reported that the new management plans to change the venue into a top tier concert venue in the city of Philadelphia.  As of now, it is unknown if Combat Zone Wrestling fits into the new management’s plans for the facility, however there has been no definitive decision on whether or not Wrestling will still have its home.  A loyal Combat Zone Wrestling fan decided to start a petition to show the new management how important it is to keep wrestling events going inside the legendary Asylum Arena.  To show you support please sign...

THE BRIZ WEBSITE RE-LAUNCH PARTY

After years of litigation and red tape do to several lawsuits from celebrities, and wanna be socialites...The Briz has been cleared for take off! again!

The Relaunch Party of the site was held in South Philadelphia, PA and was invite only. Notable Attendees from the Briz's golden years were there including DJ Jski, East Coast Britney, Mckendo, RochefacedKillah and many others.

One Notable celeb, MC was in attendance sans recent bride LizzieMarg... Trouble in Paradise?

The worlds most eligible Bachelorette, DirtyJo arrived wearing a stunning ensamble, which included a Natty Light Trucker Hat. It rivals Brooklyns Finest, JackieG who also made the guest list and arrived in sweatpants and t-shirt. Her boyfriend or Really good friend, we arent sure which, WaggyBonz was wearing a very expensive silver and diamond necklace to pay homage to his favorite rapper 50 cent. Matching bracelet was not seen, surprisingly.

The Good KD was said to have passed out very early, next to an always passed out DJ JSKI...

Miguel Escobar and Lemur partied until the wee hours of the morning, leaving the club after 4AM.

At one point the party was so wild that it ran out of booze but like jesus turning water into wine, several top names made a DASH to the store and bought out its shelves at 1AM with whatever they could get their hands on.

MollyMack did her best lindsay lohan impression, showing up at the party completely annihilated and wearing a fur vest.

Queen jen did her best "FREGAN" impression, showing up at the party completely annihilated and saying 'i ate too much chowdah, i ate too much chowdah' - also without her man... i guess a lot of peopel wanted to be single at this party...

Rorsef Mcmurderer and Joeyflavors made a late night stop down to the party as well.

This kids Band Member "Christfuck" was the only member of the band besides Mckendo in attendance, but he didnt stay long as security made him leave after spilling drinks all over himself and spitting dip on the floor.

CaraD made her way all the way from san diego california, just for this party, not for any family obligations. It was also interesting to note, she too, unlike her BFF lizzie marg who no showed, was STAG at the event, stating that the Pharoh had other obligations...we'll keep our eye on that situation.

America's first Millionaire Couples, Former Miller Lite Model Carolyn and her now husband, Millionare Miller also accepted their golden ticket invitation to the event, saying they have heard about the club on moyamensing for a long time but never actually made it inside. editors note- I guess the line is too long for even Millionaires sometimes.

In other couples news -Former Rookie of the Year and MVP JoeyCramp was there without his ultra famous socialite sister LC, who in late 2008 and 2009 spent her days blasted all over the briz, of all the no shows, that was probably the most shocking as the briz takes credit for her skyrocket into superstardom...

We arent sure what exactly went on inside the party but we can only imagine things got wild...and crazy.
